Having a Blast with Glass

Just finished our first week of Glass Camp and we had such a good time making shoes, picnic blankets, and of course lots of creativity, I'll post pictures of all the projects in a couple of days but for today enjoy seeing the works of art as they are being made by our very extremely talented campers.  Opening the kiln is going to be like Christmas when all of these are works of arts are fired.

Pitcher Season

I know for some of you summer means baseball, but I mean a totally different type of pitcher.  As in a pitcher to hold ice cold lemonade or ice tea, or for those fun Friday night mojitos or margaritas.  Here are two that were done last weekend by two very talented customers, so pretty I was already reaching for my limes and ice.

Make this beautiful Flower Tile

We have all the tools you need to make this beautiful, summery looking flower on a plate, tile, or even a mug.  The firecracker crystal glaze on this is one of our new crystal glazes in and one of our favorites.  Thanks to Mayco Colors for providing the inspiration.

Flag Day

Going a little patriotic today.  I love to put stars on pottery, and especially with stickers it is easy.
God Bless the USA.

We Love M-A-R-Y-L-A-N-D

Both Kristy and I graduated from University of Maryland and love to see pottery painted with Terps pride or just celebrating out great state and getting us ready for yummy crab season!

All of these were painted by our talented customers and one with red crabs by local artist Donna Toohey!
